TRUTH Act Forum Press Conference
What: Press conference on Sacramento County’s relationship with ICE. Advocates will call for the Sheriff’s Department to stop its voluntary assistance to ICE and for the Board of Supervisors to adopt a resolution to end all funding that supports the county’s cooperation with, and referral of immigrants, to ICE.

TRUTH Act Forum
What: Transparent Review of Unjust Transfers and Holds (TRUTH) Act Forum with the county Board of Supervisors. The act requires the local governing body of any county or city in which local law enforcement has provided ICE access to an individual during the previous year to hold a community forum to provide information to the public about ICE’s access to individuals and to receive and consider public comment.
